Apple settles class-action suit against faulty power supplies

If your power supply was fraying and, potentially, burninating, have we got a lawsuit for you. Head over to the class-action website for a list of serial codes and, if your power supply matches, you’re eligible for a replacement. The deadline is May 31, 2009.
My power supply actually frayed like this and Apple replaced it a few weeks ago for free. Your first step should probably be a trip to the Apple Store and then go through this class action if that doesn’t solve your problem.

My power adapter kept working after I have dropped it a lot. I did have to replace it cause it started smoking. My new adapter is running good.

I have a MacBook Pro which apparently isn’t covered under this lawsuit, yet my adapter looks similar to that picture. I guess I will have to file my own lawsuit?
