‘New’ MacBook Pro drop and we take the bait

The Apple MacBook Pro rumor mill keeps churning out tasty ‘real pics’ with another MacBook Pro photo and accompanying web advertisement. We have to be honest though, these look the most believable yet. The laptop in question sports an iPhone-ish top lid with the Pro’s trademark aluminum interior. There isn’t anything crazy and out of place like a touchscreen touchpad sensor; everything seems along the Apple’s/MacBook Pro’s evolutionary path. We’re not saying these pictures are real, but if they turn out to be or Apple produces something along these style lines, Jobs will have another winner.
Now to scour the pics for photoshop errors…

it looks totally real except for the fact it is ugly and apple would never make something this ugly

This is the worst mockup yet. The screen is practically square on the open laptop. It also doesnt line up if you were to close the lid. You guys cant see how awkward these look?

And the copy in the more official looking image looks all wrong. I’d hope they’d never use beastly to describe anything. And I’d imagine they’d say “Pro on the go” rather than “Pro, on the go”.

I’ll put down twenty bucks that the ‘One More Thing’ will be Aroma Therapy - in the form of benzine vapors.

The photo in this post looks very much like someone got some kind of black sticker skin for their MacBook Pro and replaced all of the keys with black ones. The “Pro, on the go” image just looks like a hastily thrown together 3D render.
Reasons this isn’t the new MBP:
1) The keyboard will almost certainly adapt the “new style” of Apple keyboards seen in the Air and the updated weireless keyboard etc.
2) There is little chance that bottom half of the book will undergo absolutely no style changes (that looks EXACTLY like the keyboard and surroundings that I’m using to type this comment).
3) The chassis is identical in shape and apparent thickness. They wouldn’t wait 5 years to do a design refresh and only change the color of the lid.

I think you are all overlooking the most obvious problem. Take a close look at the trackpad on the open model. That thing wouldn’t be even remotely usable.

Well it seems theyve removed the only practical way to open the laptop lid….
