I was really interested in all your other Kendle links. But every single one of them -- including the one in Chinese! -- fails to open a new page. If this is an indication of how reliable your site is, you can be sure that I will stay away from it. And I would also think that the Washington Post, which led me to your site, could be a little more selective about the links that they choose.

My big question has to do with how Amazon will handle its current Kindle holders. Since they have redesigned the device itself, more than an "upgrade" will be involved. For an operation that has a reputation of being quite sophisticated, they seem to be leaving a lot of loose ends. And since, according to reports, they have already sold out the current version, they should be more current and specific about the new one.

This much seems certain: if I want more information about Kindle, I'll go to Amazon. I won't rely on other sources that cannot provide reliable links.

CrunchBase InformationAmazon KindleInformation provided by CrunchBase[原文へ]（翻訳：Namekawa, U） ShowListings("arc3"); ShowListings("arc2"); AddClipsUrl = 'http://jp.techcrunch.com/archives/20081125amazon-kindle-2-slated-for-early-q1/'; AddClipsTitle = 'AmazonのKindle2、2009年第1四半期早々にお目見えへ'; AddClipsId = '2CBE02C952CFE'; AddClipsBcolor='#78BE44'; AddClipsNcolor='#D1E9C0'; AddClipsTcolor='#666666'; AddClipsType='1'; AddClipsVerticalAlign='middle'; 前の投稿へ トラックバック [...]

[...] The images that surfaced of the new Kindle in October are real - it’s a longer device but not as thick as the original Kindle, and fixes some of the button issues that plague users (like accidental page turns). A larger-screen student version is still scheduled for the first half of 2009. [...]

@maruda: maybe they're thinking that there needed to be more gripping area around the screen and the keyboard to make it more comfortable to hold for prolonged periods. Not that I necessarity agree with that decision, just trying to rationalize.

I think it's pretty interesting that these leaked out the day after Sony announced their new eReader 700. Clearly somebody at Amazon has a competitive streak...

I work in scientific publishing and rendering of equations in pdfs was not very good. Kinda slow as well. For all applications, it has a little bit of work still to do.
