Having problems accessing the BD-Live content of Iron Man? Turns out you’re not alone, and Paramount thinks it knows what’s going on: the movie is just too gosh darn popular!

The movie, which was released on Blu-ray last Tuesday, is so popular, Paramount says, that the record number of people trying to access the BD-Live content have overloaded the servers. And when the servers are under so much strain is when you see the connectivity issues.

That being said, Paramount says the issues should be gone by now, as it has shored up the relevant servers.

Also, is the movie any good? I don’t want to waste precious BitTorrent ratio on a cruddy movie.

  • Dude, for the love o’ Pete…you have got to see Iron Man!

I thought it was excellent, and I’m a real nitpicker. Don’t torrent it though, watch it in the highest quality you can afford. I guarantee you’ll love it!

Now hopefully I’l be receiving my check from Paramount by Tuesday…

  • uhhh…have you been living in a cave for all this time to not have seen Iron Man, especially for someone who works for a tech blog? Watch it pronto, coolest gadget movie ever!

  • How the hell does somebody who runs a tech blog not know about how incredibly good a movie Iron Man is?

And the record amount of people buying it on Blu-Ray wasn’t a big enough clue to go out and get it?

  • I think he said that last line as a joke, to say something like “there are more people probably downloading it illegally than buying it”
