You might barely make it through a normal DVD movie, I read somewhere the battery life is just under 2 hours. I bought mine to have a mobile desktop replacement while at a conference or so. I'm a physics student and I need a powerful computer (CPU, RAM, Graphics) but other than that I take the multimedia capabilities of a laptop as an extra and don't expect too much... because it isn't too much no matter what. I mean, computers with 5.1 audio, are you kidding me, the audio is still pretty much point source. That’s exactly right. While no one in their right mind would use this as a primary Blu-Ray Disc (BRD) player, it's always fun to have another toy to show off to your friends. We'd still be driving Model T's and flying the Wright Brothers' plane. Eventually, we can expect to see OLED's on all our Laptops and in our homes. That's just how technology progresses.
