Will Nikon do the obvious and release a D3x? Will it release the camera this December for $6,499? Will the camera have a 24.4-megapixel image sensor? Will it have the same body as its progenitor, the D3? Will it be able to shoot at a rate of 9 frames per second?
We don’t know, but we wouldn’t mind playing around with such a camera.
So what? With Nikon there seems to be rumors all the time. I can’t take pictures with a rumor. Even if they do announce it, you won’t be able to get whatever it is for who knows how long. I can get a D700 today – I can get a D3″n” months after its announced. Then maybe I’ll get one. Still, I check the web every day for updates! ;)
Please, Please Please put Firewire on the D3x.
Paul, I agree. I feel Nikon have damaged there market by being so slow bringing out a 20+meg camera.Three pro photographers I know in the UK have changed to Canon to get the quality. When they come out with the D3x it will be the yanks who will get it first and the poor Europeans will be well down the list.
Nikon if you read this please wake up and smell the coffee.This camera is needed and Canon are laughing all the way to the bank.
leica roomers on the net a month ago said is into 50 mpg 35mm size censer . haselblad is doing it . it buries cannon”s camera in comparison . model pictures were displayed and in hair enlargements were like haselblad’s . with new metal film technology might go beyond that . 24 mpg looks great but not like leica’s it is cheaper to get one fantastic camera body like the leica than getting 4 intermediate camera bodies in the mean time . come on nikon do it right this time .
