As a side note, what's happened to Sega really saddens me.

They are, probably, my all time favorite developer (aside from Nintendo, that is). I owned every piece of hardware they ever produced, even the bad ones.

This company used to be the gold standard, when it came to making quality games. Now, it seems like they can't make a good game to save their life.

I haven't played a good Sega game, period, since Gun Valkyrie on the original Xbox, and I'm in the minority on that one. That games was, mostly, panned, but it struck a cord with me.

Sega hasn't, consistently, released good games since getting out of the hardware game. I wish this company could find their way. They've been, slowly, killing my childhood memories for the last decade. It's sad. They used to be so great.

I wish I could get excited about this.

The last good Sonic game I played was Sonic and Knuckles (which I loved, BTW). Ever since then, Sega has done their best to destroy the brand.
