I’m sure you’ve done something else with the system now, but if you still have it, you may want to try reseating the processor. I had the same problem, but it booted up and is running fine after reseating the processor. I’m using it as my HTPC and it works fantastically.

No, it is not the perfect WinHTPC box. I bought one and it will not boot, acer has no support and so I am stuck for the cost of it. Personally, I believe I should have gone for the mac media center but I thougth I could save a few dollars, now I will pay twice, because acer has no return policy and CompUSA where I bought it on line won’t return phone calls or e-mail. The computer and the specs look good on paper but that’s as far as it goes, it might make a good door stop or anchor for a very small boat.
