It's something I'd been considering for my apartment and looking into a small (15" or less) touch screen, but with a machine like this it would be really easy to do. I'm always fairly worried about everyone being on my main (and currently only) computer when listening to music, I'd also like to at some point set up a machine with a virtual XP running on it so guests can surf far into the dangerous reaches of the internet without worrying about viruses or malware.

Now that's a solid application. What's great is that a year or two ago, something like that would have cost like $3000, so the idea didn't even occur to me. We're really getting into an interesting new era of ubiquitous computing.

This would actually make for a pretty cool jukebox style PC. Mount it to a wall, run audio cables to a stereo receiver and party. It would keep everyone from crowding around the 'puter all night and spilling beer on ones desk.

"...the specs are a little lacking: 1GB of RAM, a 1.6GHz Atom processor, 160GB HDD, and 128GB of shared graphics."

Thats a lot of shared graphics! ;-)
