I hope it doesnt reach the video games, thats the last good thing we have going for us with entertainment at this time..... You want a game that is challenging and is different than 99% of the games on offer? Go and try arcade version of Spikeout. There's a market for more or less everyone, and a variety of titles for each genre. The one thing I do miss is the really simple side scroller. I loved the idea of the recent Mega Man from Capcom, but it was way too hard. I would happily pay for another simple Contra, or a simple 2D Mario game, or Zelda 1.5 (with more castles). Games look and play better today, but sometimes its nice to go back to that simpler time. I don’t know, I don’t feel there’s a lack of innovation in games.
