User reviews of Guitar Hero World Tour aren’t so hot—it’s averaging a 5.8 on Metacritic (but nets an 87 based on “professional” reviews). One reason for the low score is this weird drum kit sensitivity issue that a bunch of people are reporting. Activision, the game’s publisher, says the problem only affects an early run of drums.
Be that as it may, Activision says it will offer a drum tuning kit to help you out if yours is malfunctioning. You’ll need to head to activision.com/support to get the “fix my game, please” process started.
Meanwhile, Rock Band 2 is doing a little better on Metacritic.
They should acquire big sales on this stuff, because they pay more bucks with this guyz (Kobe, Michael Phelps, A. Rodriquez and Tony Hawk) to do a video advertisement!

I bought GHWT with the guitar only and I use the RB2 drums to play it and it works flawlessly. Definitely stick to your RB drums you dont regret it.
Yea I have read several reviews and they all have complained about the drum sets. Hopefully they fix this soon because I am really looking forward to this game.
My drums broke the first day!!!! I called and told them and they said they would ship the tuning kit…I just hope it works. I bought it the day it came out to play it the day it came out, not look at the broken thing.
i was rocking out to The Day That Never Comes by metallica. and i accidently was trying to hit the red pad on my drum set and then quickly transfer to hit the orange cymbol. in the mean time i smacked the egde of my yellow cymbol and the thing fucking twisted all the way around and snapped the connector cable….. wtf….i spent all my god damn money in that peice of shit. i should have bought RB2…. wtf was i thinking… oh ya… DEATH MAGNETIC!!!! watever… fuck metallica for agreeing to put there album on such a SHITTY ASS PEICE OF BULL SHIT NAMED GHWT!!!!!!!!!
