You should get one of these things and test it out. If it actually works and doesn’t destroy your ears it would be a worthwhile purchase. A video demonstration may be in order.

I could use one of these. My ears are really sensitive and when ever I travel, and I travel quite often, my ears get blocked up due to pressure change and it can be quite painful.
