Ever use the Myvu Crystal? It’s a pair of glasses that has a built-in VGA-quality display. The idea here is that you connect the Crystal to your portable media player or cellphone and you can take immersive audio/video with you wherever you go. That’s the idea, but like I said I haven’t used them so I can’t speak to how well they work. Doug seemed to like it, though.
In any event (which is my latest crutch of a phrase, you may have noticed) the Crystal is now fully compatible with the iPhone 3G. You need to buy a separate $25 cable to get your Crystal and iPhone to play nice.

I think this is actually a pretty cool gadget. I would definitely get one if I had an iphone or any other compatible gadget for it. Everyone will have one of these pretty soon.
Yea this sounds like a cool gadget, only if you didn’t have to look like a fool wearing those glasses. Ugly design. They should just look like normal glasses or something. not so outlandish.
I got an older model as a gift a few weeks ago and it also came with a “ipod connector” although it worked fine with my iPhone 3g as well. It’s not bad. I really think there’s a future here – although I think this old model and the newer one still needs a bit of refinement.
ED Hardy Iphone 3G bling is coming now.
