There’s only five days till this insufferable election ends, and one of the more interesting stories as far as we’re concerned (“we” being the tech community) was that “Obama buying Burnout ads” from a few weeks ago. Some people freaked out, others were all, “What’s the big deal? Just drive past the ads,” and others were like, “People play Burnout?” It was fun for all of two minutes.
But now! Now we know how much the free-spending Obama campaign spent on the ads. The campaign spent $44,465.78 on the ads, paying the company Massive Incorporated to get the ads up and running.
You also might be interested in knowing that Massive offered its services to the McCain campaign, too—McCain refused, however. Maybe their numbers show that it’s not worth the effort to reach out to young voters?
Young voters have traditionally proven to be the most disappointing segment of voters. They promise big and deliver small.
If you didn’t want that to sound like another partisan dig at McCain and his poor fundraising, you might have tried “maybe their RESEARCH/POLLING/ETC show its not worth the effort…”. Just saying.
I think its smart strategy for Obama to do this, and who knows, it could pay off big. I think we can all agree he has completely saturated every “traditional” avenue for advertising…why he’s running campaign ads in MA I’ll never understand. Might as well reach out to another block of people.
That’s what I meant—the internal polling numbers suggest it’s not worth the campaign’s time and money trying to reach out to young voters.
He should use all that money on his campaign to feed his black homies on the streets. He spent more than McDonald’s and Coke combined on wasted ads. Like he already doesn’t have all the blacks voting for him. The ads are filled with lies anyway.

The Palin porno (one of many to come, I’m sure) was leaked about 10 days ago. It’s called Who’s Nailin’ Palin and stars Lisa Ann and two “Russian” guys. Hustler produced it. It’s nothing special, to be honest.
