The results are in for TIME Magazine’s Gadget of the Year poll and the Peek E-mail Device has been rated highest by TIME readers, taking the top spot. It beat out the iPod Touch, the Eye-Fi SD Card, the Flip Mino, and the T-Mobile G1. I reviewed the Peek in September and found it to work well but wondered if it’d be able to gain any traction in a world full of affordable smartphones. Well, apparently it’s doing just fine.
Other gadgets on the list: Wii Fit, Macbook, SanyoXacti HD 1010, Dash Express, and the Canon PowerShot A590IS.
What does this say about Time mag readers?
I guess it says there are millions of them and they like Peek. If only Crunchgear readers ruled the world…
I think its pretty safe to say that the real gadget of the year is the Netbook.
