Sounds like the one in North Hollywood. Place is a dump. Hell, the sign outside hasn’t been illuminated for over a year and a half, there’s no lights in the tiny parking lot, and there were always guys hanging out near a dumpster in said lot, either circle jerking or getting high– I’m not sure which, but then again, better off not to investigate at all. Movies? Forget it. Games? No chance.

And yet, there it is, still open. What the heck man?

Does anyone remember that Circuit City, just a few years ago, was the best performing company in Jim Collins’ book “Good to Great”? Obviously, Mr. Collins’ approach to management is worth some reconsideration given the fall of Circuit City. It would seem a new approach to management would be worth considering. No OREGON stores that good, I like Circuit City. I’v gotten some great things there recently on sale (TV, webcam, headset).

I’m shocked that the La Cienega one here in Los Angeles isn’t being shuttered. The store is constantly a mess and out of stock on various items. I just assumed they weren’t getting merchandise in prep of the store closing.

I can see how the Kansas stores out here are closing. No body is ever in there when I got there. Plus one is right next to a Best Buy which I’m sure isn’t good for business.

I’m not quite sure how there are no Pennsylvania stores on that list.
