On Novmeber 15th, Japanese online shopping community Zigsow will start selling the so-called BLACK MAGIC [JP], a strangely named LAN cable, which is 1.5 meters long. The maker claims the buyer will get a super high quality product since the cable is based on proprietary technology called RCT (Resonance Control Technology).

The cable also seems to have magical powers since it costs $1,070 (105,000 Yen). No, the price is not a joke.

  • I make minimum wage working at McDonalds, I saved up for about 6 months to buy one of these. I love this thing. I actually put it between glass panels of a picture frame and have it hanging up so all my other poor friends can be envious, that I am so weighed down by my wallet that I spent over $1,000 importing a $2 cable.
