I’m glad to see a cell phone with these features for those with vision and hearing loss, especially the amplification, large buttons, and flashlight. However, for this price, why doesn’t this phone include voice dialing and spoken menus? Those two features, especially the voice dialing, are standard on most cell phones these days and would make it considerably easier for those with low or no vision to make calls. Spoken menus would also be extremely helpful for those who can’t see or have trouble reading them on the screen.

This phone is a great start, but I’d like to see the features above added in the next version.

The C900 is a slider cell phone – much like the Motorola RIZR Z3 or the Ericcson T303. A large keypad slides out of the bottom when needed.

This looks very interesting. I am not a senior (yet), but I am legally blind and have been so all my life. I currently use a Nokia 6125 that has a large font option, but this new Clarity may be a true blessing. I also live in Canada, so hopefully it can be used on the Rogers GSM Network. Thanks so much for this. I will investigate further.

That looks nice – but where are the buttons with the numbers on them? Is this anything like the Cinco phone? (press the button nine times for the number “9″ etc.)

The heart-shaped button on the back is recessed. Also, you have to hold the button down for three seconds in order to activate it. I work for Clarity, so I’m familiar with the product.

I hope that there is a special way of hitting that heart button, because otherwise it’s gonna get a lot of bad hits being in a pocket with keys and stuff.
