If we piece together a couple of Verizon sources, the BlackBerry Storm will launch on November 17, 2008 for $219 with a two-year contract. None of this is of course confirmed through VZW, but it seems to fit the timetable and price point.
Verizon needs to get this BlackBerry out before the holidays as some suits will want to treat themselves to a new CrackBerry as a stocking stuffer. Plus, Verizon does not have a true iPhone killer yet and while the Storm will not slay the king, it’s the closest thing on the market so the price must be close to the iP3G’s $199 entry price.
Once again, none of this is confirmed but Verizon must be close to releasing this BlackBerry. What are they waiting for?
ZDNet – Release date

Hmm… Ironically, on November 16 they will start up the $35 stocking fee. That means that those of us who switched to Verizon who bought a different phone to use as a crutch until the storm comes out will be out a little extra.
Oh well, I guess I will just return it a day early and go phoneless for a day.
Pricing on the testman site is never reflective of what the actual price will be. Everything on the testman site should be considered a place holder.
The only thing this points to is what we all already know. The Storm will be released, at some point, for Verizon.
well if you do like the blackberry and want to get it for a cheeper price stop by at jummmy tummy jim bob and have your self a new and improved blackberry storm (until supples last) thats all foks rememver jummy tummy jim bob
How lame. Cant beleive some one actually took the time to photo shop the above. Everything that’s listed on the web regarding the BB storms price/launch date are nothing but someones personal opinion/guess. The officials have not yet released any info regarding price or launch date so everyone just sit back and be patient. Go to verizon’s site and opt in to the email notifactions for an update on when the phone will be released. Stop waisting your time and everyone elses with all the bologna.
Peace!!
it has 9gb not 8gb so $20 is chump change.
