Every thing I saw originally said the app would be released "as soon as Friday". To me that meant that it might appear Friday or it could be another day.

Maybe I'm just logical...

Once again, weak John, weak.
How you get from, TC HAS WORD: "Google was under the impression that the application would be live on the App Store on Friday" to "all Apple's fault" in your headline is irresponsible.

TC even admits that Google has said that app is still listed as "in review", so where did they get the impression it would be Friday ?

All developers treated poorly ? Really ? Did you ask me ? We have 3 apps up, they were reviewed in 12, 8 & 2 days. If you had ever attended any of the developers conferences, you might have learned of the number of departments that need to sign off on an app, with quite possibly the largest amount of time spent in legal.

Release dates depend on the number of apps in the que, complexity and software efficiency, I for one am impressed to see that Apple is scrutinizing all apps and developers with the same policies.

It's just 2 days, who cares! I've worked on 4 iPhone apps now that were all published a few days later than the projected date. One came nearly 2 weeks after the projected date. In all instances it was still "under review." In my eyes, I'm glad Apple isn't playing favors or favorites and treating google just as they would treat any other app developer.
