Damn, these things are getting out of control! There’s not much to say on this front other than this little drive holds sixteen times the data my little HyperX DataTraveler does. At this point one has to ask, who needs a 64GB thumbdrive?! Actually, having spacious, pocketable drives around is very handy: I back up a lot of video footage and just to be redundant I put a copy on any flash drive I have about as well.
The 64GB version will be pricey if you want to get your Dad one as a gift — $177 to be precise. A 32GB version is available for $116.

I think 32 GB can be gettable under $100…
Personally I will get 2x 32GB rather than a $180 flash drive. Also, I will carry my beloved 1 TB (under $100) around with me.

Hi there. There is a much cheaper 64GB flash drive from Van Der Led for only $111. I’ve wrote about it in my 9 Godzilla Size Flash Drives. Please check it out if you are interested! :)
Nice post – although that sony one at the end is pretty clearly counterfeit… The transcend looks solid though.
