Additionally, it appears that all other Sony owned studios’ movies are still available via Netflix via the 360, it’s only Columbia. Which further leads me to believe this is merely a licensing issue.

Actually Matt, the licensing issue has been confirmed via multiple sites/articles at this point in time. I had originally though it was Sony starting to fight back against MS. But, alas, I was wrong. It’s too bad too. Sony could really make things difficult for the 360’s movie service, simply by denying them access to any of their studio’s films. Similar to the PS3 not being able to run an NTFS file system because it’s a MS trademark/copyright. Oh, didn’t know that one did you? Yeah, MS started this, don’t go making them seem like the innocents.
