Sorry about the delay on this contest, folks, but it’s been busy around the CG office with John gallivanting around Europe spreading his seed all over Marie Antoinette’s watch and all. So, without further ado let’s start this contest. If you haven’t watched our video interview with Shaun White then you’re basically out of the running. Just kidding, but you have to watch the video or you’ll have no way of answering the questions. We’ll give you guys until Thursday at 9PM EDT to win a copy Target Limited Edition Shaun White Snowboarding for Xbox 360. There are two copies up for grabs.
Now, there are two ways of winning, so stay with me.
1. What kind of headphones does Shaun use when he’s riding? Send in these answers to contest at crunchgear dot com. If you leave them in comments then they will not count.
2. Tell us why you love us in comments. We want answers with some feeling, people!
Good luck.

I love CrunchGear for the diverse opinions. When I check my newsfeeds for stuff, I tend to get lots of duplicates since I subscribe to a lot of tech blogs, but it’s normally CrunchGear that is able to provide counter-commentary. CrunchGear doesn’t read like the others do.
Ps you guys rock because you update all day long and because you asked Shaun my two questions.
also that isn’t my real email address. so when I win I’ll have to send you my real info.

Not gonna lie to you guys - I love you cuz you give out shit. You also cover a lot of stories vs the other guys, for better or worse (with my consumption rate, better for me).
i love you just because of the guitar hero bike ride (http://www.crunchgear.com/2008/11/19/bike-hero-this-is-hard-core/). oh, and the fairness you guys give to everything, including the zune.
I love you guys because you keep my twitter feed full of awesome tech deals and news stories.
I love Crunchgear because they are not afraid to tackle forbidden topics like the poop shelf + of course the Crunchgear party.
you guys are the ‘bee’s knees’. you guys are one of the few unbiased sources out there. and good info is hard to come by out on the web. keep up the good work and keep those contests coming
i prefer your witty sarcasm and cynicism to that of other gadget blogs. you are altogether more clever and interesting to read. also, short posts make me happy because i can get through more in a shorter time. ps, you guys are the best.
I stumbled across your site one day looking for a review of the salmosa mouse by Razer. After quickly watching the video and reading the summary below it, i decided to venture through crunchgear. To my hearts delight there was a vast selection of products accompanied by in depth reviews or hot off the self news.
So to conclude my favorite part of crunchgear is the quality, and I’ll definatly return everyday even if im not the lucky one to win ;D.
P.S Contests/Giveaways = moar <3 <3 <3 <3
I love you guys because you have given me 2 phones!! First a Samsung Upstage in your birthday contest and then a Nokia Batphone! BTW, I don’t really want this game, so if I get picked, let someone else have it. Just wanted to say how much I appreciate you guys. Keep up the good work, and stay crunchy!
Do you ship to India ? ;)
I love you guys because you love your readers by offering contests.
Getting Shaun’s direct input on Being Shaun in the game was a great part of the interview. Crunching through the details of the game creation, Shaun’s use of technology and his almost too laid back approach shows why Crunchgear gets the tough to get interviews. Action Sports Star meets Technology Sports Star for sure. Keep up the great work.
I love CrunchGear because with every post I read I feel like a young boy whose hot piano lesson teacher adds some spice to her lessons by playing with herself and shoving your hand under her skirt: Slightly violated, but confused and excited at the same time, and always wanting to come back for more. Later then I’ll sit at home and smell my fingers, wondering if she treats all her students the same way… But I digress.
With your uncanny ability to mix just the right amount of unprofessionalism with a writing style that leaves no doubt that heavy drug usage and neo-journalism play nicely together even the shortest post can evoke a plethora of feelings in the reader, especially when you point out how lame we are for not having seen that new viral video that has been popular for all of 17 minutes already, and how blatantly you proclaim your love for downloading pirated media off BitTorrent with the arrogant ignorance of an eleven year old bragging to his friends about that pack of gum he just stole at the supermarket.
All in all, good stuff! :-)
So I just started browsing and it looks like I’m falling in love with your choice of article topics. With most tech sites I have to skim through to find something that looks really interesting but with this one I’m having a hard time finding a story I would not look into.
I think you’ll find our comment system is kind of quirky though, and sometimes comments randomly get held back for approval - just let it chill and it’ll appear in good time. :)
I don’t frequent the site much but I have been here a few times before and have always been pleased with everything you all do at the site. The reviews are great, the knowledge is great, and you treat your visitors correctly. People keep coming back and checking out the latest reviews from you because of your accountability and credibility. Either way its win win for the visitor. Thank you.
Will buy it anyway . I can’t keep myself away from the skate games and my walltet bleeds ;)
I love Crunch Gear because your articles are short and to the point! I read your articles and find out what is awesome and many times you point me in the direction of something that is so incredibly awesome that it is worthy of me looking into it further. This is something that many other tech blog sorely lack…
