Fanatac intros the Porsche 911 Carrera Racing Wheel

In case you’re one of those douches that wear Porsche memorabilia and correct people on the proper punctuation of the German namesake, this racing wheel is for you, buddy. The Fantec-made Porsche 911 Carrera Racing Wheel works with both the PC and PS3. In case this wheel seems vaguely familiar, it seems Fantec makes these Porsche-branded wheels for each Porsche model as this one is for the 911 Carrera where the one announced a few weeks ago was for the Xbox 360, but also modeled after the 911 Turbo. Interested? Ships for $129 but not until February 15th, 2009.

  • Wow, this douche apparently isn’t familiar enough with his own subject. Porsche is a german company and probably has less memorabilia than the domestic manufacturers. You seem to be confusing them with Ferrari for some reason. Stick to making wise cracks about something you actually know.

  • What’s douchier? Having the taste and style to appreciate perhaps the most important automotive design and engineering accomplishments ever, or writing blog posts about video game gear without even a basic understanding of the subject? I’m pretty sure my dog knows that Porsche is a German brand.

Being labeled a “douche” by an actual douche like the clueless author of this post is a treasure that all Porsche enthusiasts wear as a badge of honor.

Hey Matt, next time you see me (I’ll be the guy in the Porsche cap) remind to school you on some other fundamental automobile and editorial facts. For example, I’ll bet you didn’t know Caroll Shelby was a man? Actually, you probably never heard of Caroll Shelby because you obviously know nothing about auto racing history at all. Did you know there’s this thing called wikipedia that allows you to research things (like car manufacturers) before you start publishing content on the web?

  • I could not hold but bookmark the blog for later viewpoint. It’s good that each and every article is attested with concrete proof. I like the pictures used on the blog posts, extremely nice. I enjoy the positivity I get on this blog. Quality over quantity is the motto on this blog for sure. The technical knowledge of this site author is peerless. There is a sense of originality about the topics and the judgements on this blog. You could make this a long-standing bookmark.
