This watch mixes three things I love: a nice size, a great brand, and a good movement. This odd digital watch is actually being sold by Seiko right now for about $898 direct from Japan and it’s actually totally worth it. This is a nice watch. It uses a 6R15 movement with hacking and it’s a hefty 43mm wide. You’ve even got a see-through back. I’m in love.

My daily watch is a plain old Seiko 5 Sports 7S36A with a see-through back. It’s my mechanical touchstone in a digital world. If I’m getting trolled in Web2.0-land I just flip my watch over and rock the pendulum gently back and forth.
