A CrunchDeals reminder: Verizon’s New Every Two works with the Storm

Just in case your Verizon contract has the New Every Two feature that allows you to get $100 bucks off a new mobile phone every two years, you could score the Storm today for only $99 after the a $50 mail-in rebate. Not a bad price for BlackBerry’s dreary attempt at a touchscreen phone. Props to James Kendrick for pointing this out.

  • I just bought a Storm online using my New Every Two, and I’m psyched. However, even though every step of the order showed the NET discount and the mail in rebate, the bottom of the receipt said “An instant online discount has been applied to the phone price and cannot be combined with mail-in rebate offers.”
Since this contradicts what was on the screen while I was placing the order, I’m assuming I’ll still get the rebate. I’ll be pissed if I don’t.
