Reading on a plane or in bed in pitch black is the only way to go! Not ideal next to a pool or on a beach, but... I'm not taking any ebook next to a pool with my kids around anyway. Guess I'll keep buying PocketPC's and reading on them until there is an e-reader that is backlit, but on that day I'll pre-order!
