OK, well I am looking up reviews and my 2 year old palm centro has finally froze up and i’m looking for a new phone that has a full keyboard and a touchscreen. I love the look of the at&t quickfire but i’ve heard A TON of crap about it. is it worth getting?
all i do is text, i dont surf the internet off my phones or email. Should i risk it or is there a better plan?
Also, since it is refurbished, is it better now? is all the things that HAVE been said about it not true anymore? haha HELP! =\

quickfire is a peice of crap dont get all it is . is trouble!!!!! i hav had it for alomst a year and im not th high maintenece but this phone has driven me crazy im now getting the lg vu and im so excited to hav the quickfire anymore!

I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS GRADE A+ BADASS!!!!!!!!!!!! But can it seriously blow up if the put the charger in backwrads cause that makes me nervous?

Im on my third quickfire and they want to give me my fourth. This phone is nothing but a pain in my ass. The screen freezes up and stops working our of no where. i was on the phone with costumer service for 30 minutes and they wanted to give me a cheap nokia 3600 and i would still have to pay 40 bucks. I hate this phone and wish it would die.

I can tell you that now that it is 2009 and they have updated the phone, it’s amazing. Only idiots buy a phone when it first comes out. There is always problems with at least the frist 5 months of a new phone being out. They work to fix the “bugs” then release a better one.

my mom just bought me and her a quickfire today. we’re gonna get it 3-5 business days. im reall excited to get this phone cause its so darn cute. but now that ive seen the reviews for it im kinda worried now. but im also thinking that i probably wont have the same problems as alot of people have cause the things ill only use is calling people of course and im getting 200 texts a month so im not gonna be texting constantly like just about everyone does. and i know im not gonna be buying the other extra crap for it and i know ill probably never drop my phone either cause i have huge purses that itll always be in and this is basically my first plan phone.

so know that everyone has heard how i will use my phone, do u guys think i wont have much problems with it as everyone else has?

I just got the phone earlier today, so I can’t tell you much. I can tell you a few things though

The camera works well to me. I wouldn’t use if you were a professional photographer, but it is great for using it just to take random pictures of friends and family. Or other random things.

As far as the battery, I can’t really say. The last phone that I had had a great battery on it, but I hated the whole thing because it was old. This one has not been too bad. I tend to use my phone a lot for random things, like bluetooth, calls, and notes. I have had the battery charged since 4. It’s now almost 12 and I still have 1/3 of the battery left. But I did A LOT with it today. I doubt it will go so fast if you don’t do too much with it. I had to turn it off a lot today too. So, that will help out with the battery. Either way, I think that it will work well as long as you aren’t CONSTANTLY on it.

worst. phone. ever. mine will barely turn on, the w key wont work unless i press it REALLY hard, the camera is horrible and has no zoom unless youre on video, the touchscreen is horrible, and it’s just a horrible phone altogether. i suggest that no one buys it. go ahead but you might as well not waste $100 and a 2 year contract. just saying…

I got mine on Ebay too!
I’m still looking for all that stuffs to spice up my quickfire, but after reading some of the comments, I don’t really know about this phone.
Thanks for the tip about the touchscreen :)

But I still need answers to some questions:
1. Battery life: Good or bad?
2. QWERTY Keyboard: Are the buttons easy to text on? (I’m a huuge texter !)
3. Would you prefer an iPhone over this phone?

i cant figure out how to get the letters back on the texting i just got this phone from my brother and when i try and text it only shows symbols and numbers.does anybody no how to fix this?

Okay, here’s the deal.
It’s time to get a new contract,
and I am thinking of getting the Quickfire (obviously)
I’m really confused since there are so many complains about this phone.
right now, i have palm treo 680.
touchscreen’s great! and the keyboards are great too.
But I’m sick of palm treos,
i had palm treo ish phones since 5th grade!
yeah, its a long time.
so im looking for a new phone.
my friend has a quickfire,
and it looked really nice.
but she admitted that the touchscreen is horrible.

but isnt there a keyboard you could use?
so it would be okay right?
but the other problem is the “freezing up” part.
but i heard its only for few seconds,
and it comes right back.

sounds a cool phone,
only 29 dollars on AT&T
due to all these problems.

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING TO BUY A NEW PHONE.
BUY PALM TREOS INSTEAD.

I RECOMMAND IT.
ITS A GREAT PHONE.
