if you text a lot you will have to charge the battery everyday, the touchscreen absolutely sucks let me tell you. Texting is easy tho i like the keyboard thats the only good thing about the phone, but the buttons are super small, and there arent many features. hope that was helpful

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.

i bought it in may of 2009 and already have replaced it 3 times, the touchscreen sucks, you will touch reply in a message and delete will pop up! i will call people and they claim i never called them. Overall, it just runs super slow and scratches easily. Also, after awhile when you slide the phone up it detaches, its not very sturdy, pretty cheap. AT&T sucks.

Alice-So, that will help out with the battery. Either way, I think that it will work well as long as you aren’t CONSTANTLY on it.

have AT&T and dont have much problems with it the only problems are the 6 bars 2 bars i get in 2 different spots of my house. When i seen the quickfire i wanted it asap but being smart and wanting somthing that works for what i pay for i wanted to findout the pros and cons of this device…upon further searching i find that the quickfire is none other then a cheap phone with a sucky touch screen i am a bit crushed because i think if AT&T took the initiative they would of had a great phone on there hands and alot of buyers. the phone i am now going to buy, has great reviews and great feedback…the pantech matrix.

OK, well I am looking up reviews and my 2 year old palm centro has finally froze up and i’m looking for a new phone that has a full keyboard and a touchscreen. I love the look of the at&t quickfire but i’ve heard A TON of crap about it. is it worth getting?
all i do is text, i dont surf the internet off my phones or email. Should i risk it or is there a better plan?
Also, since it is refurbished, is it better now? is all the things that HAVE been said about it not true anymore? haha HELP! =\

Im on my third quickfire and they want to give me my fourth. This phone is nothing but a pain in my ass. The screen freezes up and stops working our of no where. i was on the phone with costumer service for 30 minutes and they wanted to give me a cheap nokia 3600 and i would still have to pay 40 bucks. I hate this phone and wish it would die.

I can tell you that now that it is 2009 and they have updated the phone, it’s amazing. Only idiots buy a phone when it first comes out. There is always problems with at least the frist 5 months of a new phone being out. They work to fix the “bugs” then release a better one.

my mom just bought me and her a quickfire today. we’re gonna get it 3-5 business days. im reall excited to get this phone cause its so darn cute. but now that ive seen the reviews for it im kinda worried now. but im also thinking that i probably wont have the same problems as alot of people have cause the things ill only use is calling people of course and im getting 200 texts a month so im not gonna be texting constantly like just about everyone does. and i know im not gonna be buying the other extra crap for it and i know ill probably never drop my phone either cause i have huge purses that itll always be in and this is basically my first plan phone.

so know that everyone has heard how i will use my phone, do u guys think i wont have much problems with it as everyone else has?

I just got the phone earlier today, so I can’t tell you much. I can tell you a few things though

The camera works well to me. I wouldn’t use if you were a professional photographer, but it is great for using it just to take random pictures of friends and family. Or other random things.

As far as the battery, I can’t really say. The last phone that I had had a great battery on it, but I hated the whole thing because it was old. This one has not been too bad. I tend to use my phone a lot for random things, like bluetooth, calls, and notes. I have had the battery charged since 4. It’s now almost 12 and I still have 1/3 of the battery left. But I did A LOT with it today. I doubt it will go so fast if you don’t do too much with it. I had to turn it off a lot today too. So, that will help out with the battery. Either way, I think that it will work well as long as you aren’t CONSTANTLY on it.
