I've been using Moleskines for years. I absolutely love them. I always have one in my bag. One next to me near the TV. One near the computer. One near the toilet. One next to the shower (it's in a plastic bag). One next to the bed. One under the bed. One in the car. One in the kitchen. One in the refrigerator. One in the dog bed. One in the cat box. One in my girlfriend's box. One in my workshop. One in the medicine cabinet. One in the vegetable crisper, and finally one in my shorts.

I NEVER want to be without a Moleskine. You NEVER know when the muse will answer the call!

What we say to catch wide eyed and too high.
To lose it and split the line way too fine.
Touch the water to be a notebook.
Deep, deep brown, lost on the middle shelf travelling,
Small.
Or large.

To write on demand is a curse
For writers not skilled with a verse
I'm fiction, not poet
and well do I know it
But in poetry now I submerse

Stop me, this really is bad
this limerick effort is sad
The things that I'll do
to win laser carved new
my efforts are driving me mad

I'm really not picky you see
I'll take notebook should you be
inclined to a gift
that would give me a lift
and stop the rhymes here writ by me.

A writer who's selling a book
Came from Quo Vadis's site for a look
Found carved covers insane
And her poetry lame
But hopes this is enough of a hook

I can't resist fancy covers
I'm another of these product lovers
Performs poems on command
To get one in my hand
I'd like Crunch Gear...or one of the others

Oh stop me, this metrical verse
Is stuck in my head, like a curse
I'll be thinking all day
of a rhyme or a way
To stop, 'ere it gets any worse!

I'll choose a Crunchgear notebook, please....

Here goes...
..well a computer was something on TV
From a science fiction show of note.
A window was something you hated to clean,
And ram was the cousin of a goat.
Meg was the name of my girlfriend,
And gig was a job for the nights.
Now they all mean different things,
And that really mega bytes.
An application was for employment.
A program was a TV show.
A cursor used profanity.
A keyboard was a pi-a-no.
Memory was something that you lost with age.
A CD was a bank account.
And if you had a 3" floppy,
You hoped nobody found out.
Compress, you did to the garbage,
Not something you did to a file,
And if you unzipped in public
You'd be in jail for a while.
Log on was adding wood to the fire.
Hard drive was a trip on the road.
A mouse pad was where a mouse lived,
And a backup occurred in your commode.
Cut you did with a pocket knife.
Paste you did with glue.
A web was a spider's home,
And a virus was the flu.
I guess I'll stick to my pen and paper,
And the memory in my head.
I hear nobody's been killed in a computer crash,
But when it happens they wish they were dead!

Tech Crunch I Like.

Amidst the mists, I gripped her wrists,
softly, softly, gently, gently
so as not to distress or unsettle the delicate demoiselle.
Though she feigned to struggle against her fate,
we know she quietly yearned, for the tender
touch and the minstrel's musings,
for it was writ upon her porcelain countenance,
or perhaps my salacious desire for such a beauty
blinded me to the cold, hard reality.
Nevertheless, I stole a kiss, and stole off into the mists,
tears streaming from my face, unconsolable.

"There was once a freelancer called Kian,
Who attended a Barcamp in Sheffield,
One Saturday morning,
Whilst chatting and lunching,
Some oik lifted his bag and nicked it."

Inside the bag was my Mac, Sansa E280 + SE 210s and personal moleskine journal with two years worth of entries in and my work moleskine journal, with my site designs, meeting notes etc.

The Mac and Sansa is replaceable. The journals themselves are, the content is not. Please, make my week.

Informative and insightful

I prefer to use the old web designer standby of lorem ipsum text, because it's impossible to understand and yet looks so impressive...

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.
Pellentesque eu lectus eget neque molestie lobortis.
Fusce elementum.
Maecenas sit amet erat.
Suspendisse ligula.
Nulla ac ipsum.
Sed lacus est, dignissim a, ullamcorper non, volutpat at, risus.
Proin accumsan rutrum risus.
Donec mattis imperdiet mi.
Fusce hendrerit.
Maecenas auctor ligula sit amet tellus.

when I open the case.
Its like seeing fresh cash
pop up in my face.

Nothin like the shine
that be coming from Crunch.
Its got me feeling so fine
theres no need to munch...my lunch...with Crunch GEAR!

Ya feel me?!
