Korean remake of 5DmkII movie “Reverie” is waaay better

I don’t know whether it’s the hottie Korean chicks, the decent lighting (for the most part) or the generally good focus control, but I like this movie way more than the one by Vincent Laforet, which it’s based on (though Aki News’ one was good). Prism, as it’s called, certainly doesn’t show any of the DSLR video flaws I just mentioned a few minutes ago, but at that resolution it wouldn’t, and the 5D is great for this stuff if you can handle its restrictive shooting modes.

Thanks for the tip from Dan over at Photo District News.

  • Very nice takes indeed. I like especially the lighting around 0:30, 1:10 and at 1.28. The outdoor shots are too yellow-ish to my taste but I suppose that’s because of the street lighting. I wouldn’t say it’s waaay better than Reverie but then again I don’t like Reverie for its sterile and robotically staged character. This one feels a bit more natural.
