I’m not really sure how I feel about these in-ear Beats by Dr. Dre from Monster Cable. The Turbines that were announced last month were so-so compared to other in-ears at the same price point and for $150 I’d probably recommend a pair of Shures, Etymotics or Ultimate Ears over these ones. But the over-the-ear Beats are actually pretty good headphones, so I’ll have to wait and see what the Tours are made of when they start shipping in one to two weeks.
The best part of the Beats Tour seems to be the tangle-free cable that took 10 years to develop.
Monster could really cut down on the packaging of their headphones as well. The Turbines came in the biggest box of all time and it appears the Tours do as well.

Not sure I even understand you comments much less your thoughts on the headphones. These things are so very good especially for the price range they are requesting vs Ultimate ears, shure, etc. I have Ultimate ears pro’s and they are being put down by these earphone as my #1 choice for listening to music for me. Time’s magazine as well as countless of other publications somehow find this headphones just as amazing as I do. They did a great job with the packaging of the set also. I have no idea why anyone would have a problem with the way these earphones are presented in the box. Heck, thats one of the more enjoyable parts about getting these headphones. The joys of opening such a well packaged item shows the company had great care about the product. Dude get a life( if you didn’t like the earphones fine, move on but come on, you complained about the box????)
