Normally I refrain from commenting your posts; however, I had one of these so I feel it is my duty to inform everyone else of my dealings with this POS.

Epic. Fail.

1. They don’t cut all packages as well as advertised (just those they show you).
2. Holding the package wrong, or if the closing mechanism unlatches, will allow you to chop off the tip of your fingers if you’re so inclined [read: so retarded to use this].
3. They easily slip off and you end up running the edge through your fingers on the hand holding it.

If we had the opposite of the Holiday Gift Guide or a section of “Do Not Buy” items, this should be first.

That thing looks like it would feed the freshly cut plastic right into that extra skin between your pinky and your wrist.

Interesting- especially since Amazon seems to be trying to lead the way in getting rid of excess and plastic packaging.
Of course the obvious question- does this come packed in a plastic clamshell that you need to bloody your hands to open?
