Fact is the british government created piracy and the very first pirates (google sir francis drake) to go into enemy lands and disrupts their trade embargos, halt supplies and resources and murder loot and kill. leaving less resistance for the kings army when they arrived. then when the battles were won pirates were made outlaws and hunted and hung as they were no longer useful to the kings and countries that first funded and spawned them. Pirates were nothing more than secret society assassins, used primarily by easters olagarcs, kings, samurai and few others who could afford one, to silently kill and assinate leaders of opposition, often a ninja would kill his mark get hired soon after to kill the previous employer and kill him to, as is the way of the assassin. theres no independace or real comradery in either faction or group, they both would stab each other in the back, kill their own mothers if the loot was plentiful or the price was right. some of you might think either one is cool or better i dont really care i deal with truth and facts, and the fact is both had a complete disraguard for eithics, morality or decency, nothing more than empty husks, loaded weapons, only driving purpose being plunder or contract.
