Wal-Mart iPhone rumors have been swirling for a while now, but the rumor is no more – hopefully. The gigantic, behemoth, monstrous, small-town killing retailer will sell the iPhone this month according to a Bloomberg and Reuters report. Exact details aren’t available like launch date, staffing, and if a 4GB model will be sold. Eh, we’ll find out all those details shortly.

  • “Patients, my Wal-Mart shopper, patients.”

Inside joke (like Internets)? I guess I’ll have to have patience.

  • Closer to a spelling/usage error I think.

As for Wal-Mart selling iPhones, its a good thing overall and will serve to spread the gospel about this cool device.

  • But how will I feel like a special little snowflake for owning a pricey iPhone if the knuckle-dragging cavemen who shop at Wal-Mart will be able to buy them too?

  • By the way, Wal-Mart creates millions of jobs. Naturally liberals hate it because it refuses to unionize and destroy itself.

  • I love the fact that walmart will be selling the i phone but I think the author of this blog is a little rude because like one above said walmart makes a lot of jobs. There are many people who have jobs now because of this store than they would if there were only small town stores available.
