BFF’s Unreasonable Stance: Ban Google Maps!

(Not to be confused with CG’s sanctioned “Unreasonable Stance” which is no longer done thanks to whiny, over zealous fan boys who can’t read a disclaimer…like this one.)

I agree. Go ahead and ban google maps. I don’t want them to figure out how to get over here anyway, so what’s it matter to us? Big deal, a few people won’t be able to see the latest “Google stunt” when the street van goes through. So what. Small minded people need small minded solutions.

Besides, where do you think this idea of “ban first ask questions later” came from?

America.

That’s right, it’s our fault. Anytime some retard sues because their coffe was too hot, the surgeon general’s warning wasn’t big enough, or OJ kills someone, we end up banning something to appease the minority because the rest of us are too apathetic and don’t want to listen to the incessant bitching and moaning of said retards.

  • Here’s a somewhat related thought to that bit of sarcasm.

I seriously think we need to revise the Constitution regarding those eligible to vote.

Only landed persons should be allowed to vote. If you’re renting – no vote.

  • Yup. And speaking of CG’s “Unreasonable Stance”, I was thinking about that earlier. Please bring it back. People whine on blogs, its what they do. Those were often well done, thought provoking pieces. And the merits presented in those pieces served a greater purpose since debating them actually MOVED THE CONVERSATION forward.

Being presented with an opposing viewpoint and being forced to debate your own convictions is healthy, and sorely lacking in a world where people can set up an RSS feed to stream content to them which exactly reinforces their already held convictions. It happens on both sides, whether the content is delivered from MoveOn.org or AnnCoulter.com, and its partly to blame for all the pettiness and vitriol in society today. So what I’m trying to say is start it up again. Ask Deleon to write a piece favorable to conservative thinking. Ask Peter Ha to write something favorable about the BB Storm. As Aamoth to write something about how much better aliens are than pirates OR ninjas. Its fun, and lots of us enjoy those posts and getting involved in the discussions.

  • And Harry Potter books, and porn, and rock-n-roll, and fuck it, ban the internet! That ought to fix something…
