Blu-ray players are starting to take off thanks to killer deals like this one. Amazon is running a deal on the Panasonic DMP-BD35K with four Warner Blu-ray titles through December 13. But that alone isn’t good enough to be considered a CrunchDeal. Thankfully, Panasonic is throwing in Ratatouille and The Nightmare Before Christmas via a rebate which makes it worthwhile. Panasonic Blu-ray player with 6 movies for only $209? Nice.
Where’s the deal? Amazon lists it at $244… there is a special ‘buy 4 BR DVDs and a player and get $100 off, but that’s still more than the $209 w/ 6 movies…
If you buy the 35K plus the 4 cheapest movies (which are each around $16) you get $100 off, which is ~$309 – $100 = $209. Then you use the rebate linked to in the article to get two more free movies.
When I looked at this offer yesterday, the coupon code was BDWARNER but the offer seems to have disappeared from their site and the coupon didn’t work for me. Looks like code BLUWA100 is good for the same $100 off though.
