Ladies and Germs, we have news. Copy and Paste might finally come to your iPhone. This clever method bypasses the App Store by utilizing two Javascript bookmarks and web services that don’t require any software installation. The service, dubbed Pastebud, is launching tomorrow and according to the video above, seems to work well. Perfect? Nope, but a hella big step forward.

Better than iCopy, but still pathetic that we’re waiting for an official feature from apple
Apple will never fix it until people stop buying their broken products.
Ya, I started working on updates but dropped it figuring Apple would get to it soon. Boy was I wrong.
I agree, Apple should have instituted copy and paste with version 1!!!
Perfect! Here, I am inspired by 2 things. Your starting line of the post & actual news!

‘Hella’ big step indeed…
so, when you say “bypassing the app store”, do you mean to say that Apple wont let someone publish it in the app store? A friend of mine said he was going to make a BILLIOON dollars writing that one
wow ive been waiting for a long time for such a utility.
Sort of ridiculous we’re still waiting for a feature like this from Apple, but this one sounds (almost) like what most users would want.
you should be fired for using hella in a post.
Seems like a great idea… but what’s up with the crappy demo video??
The demo looks like it was recorded in a jail cell with a crappy mobile video camera. (and way to use your thumb for the entire demo…Next time try using a knuckle while you’re at it.)
Awesome!!!

hallelujah!!!
I’m amazed that the so called “amazing” iphone doesn’t have something as simple as copy and paste! Windows mobile might be “clunky” but has every feature one might need and no meed to wait for the “master” to approve the applications.
I meant “no need” sorry about the typo.
Killer boots, man. This looks better than a delicious bass on a hot summer afternoon. I hope (for pastebud’s sake) they’re not on the Google App Roll-out schedule.
calm down people. the cydia based app [for cracked iphones] is CopierciN. it has a fab menu wich allows you to select sms, contacts, notes, e-mails, and regular files. and export as sms, new note, email, safari project, or regular file.
way better than pastebud?!
i had the chance to test it. i did a first look of it on my blog. click my name and check it out.
much love
very nice
Is John Casasanta from Macheist developing this cause I see his name on the screen?????!!
