We had a lot of fun these few days, friends, and I want to thank you for making my week as memorable as Ducky’s at prom. But what have we in store for you today? Something wondrous? Something magical?
Yes, yes, and yes! It’s a Sony Location Free TV box, the LF-B20. What does it do? It’s apparently wireless and it’s apparently Sony’s answer to Slingbox. But rather worrying about all that, I’m also throwing in a grab bag of stuff from the boxes surrounding my desk. That’s right: you’re getting a surprise!
So comment away. Tell us anything. Tell us your best birthday present. Tell us the name of your first homeroom teacher. Tell us how much you love us. Thanks for tuning in and remember: CrunchGear is looking out for you!

First?
Wow. I think that’s the first time I’ve done that. :-D Thanks CG.
Great fun, thanks John.
I’ll tell you that I was at a house concert at my sister-in-laws last night. Her brother-in-law is a professional performer/musician, he sang, and got a friend to play guitar. They sang, and about 25 of us sat snacking, drinking and listening. It was fun [but now I'm really tired].
i hope that a day will come when i win something valuable
My family and I moved to USA from Holland back in 1946 when I was
7 years old. I demanded a dog since we never had one and Mom picked us up a little cocker spaniel. She named it Bimbo, the name of her first dog. Bimbo in Dutch Indonesia where she was born doesn’t have the same meaning as it does in the USA. Needless to say, every male dog in the neighborhood was thrilled by her presence and I became very embarrassed telling everyone that Bimbo was really not a bimbo.
I like bacon.
I hope even more than Jegor that a day will come when I may actually win something :-D
Yea, Winning something would be nice ;)
My best birthday present might have been a telescope and a trip to the American Museum of Natural History in NYC when I was in 2nd grade.
Got lost in Rockefeller Center and went and found a police officer and told him I was lost.
Eventually found my parents and family.

There once was a fella named John
who was cleaning out his office and said “my what fun”.
Let me see what I can use
to offer for all those people who browse and peruse.
So he reached deep in the boxes surrounding him
and pulled up this really slick black box - “you know this is quite slim”
When he realized there was more room in the packaging
he scrounged and scoured and found a few more bits of bling.
This will do quite nicely he thought
now lets see what kind of creativity these great readers have got.
So he wrote a blog post to advertise his endeavor
and quickly the list of comments grew and went on forever.
At last he saw the post that really caught his eye
so he made the announcement - WindowsObserver - your my guy!
This makes getting up at 4:30 AM worth. The tense the anticipation who is going to win? what is the special surprise?

The sky is blue. No really. It is.
Last night I called my girl friend and told her about this dream I had. We haven’t been speaking well for months, so I guess my unconscious was telling me something when I dreamt about her a few days ago.
I was walking to go wait in line for something, and I saw her walking toward it, too, but I just pretended I didn’t see her and stepped in line. She did, too, and stood right behind me. I didn’t say anything, but she tapped me on the back, and I turned around and she was right there, and I just hugged her so tight, like I never ever wanted to let go of her ever again.
A couple of hours after I awoke from the dream, she called me and brought up the fact that we haven’t been the same like we were in the beginning of our relationship, and I agreed. I asked to take her out to a diner on our college campus where we first met, and we had a great time. It was like a reboot to our relationship… or at least that’s how I felt.
So I told her about this dream last night, and how it was amazingly relevant to our lives. She smiled, and we hugged and kissed. That’s all that really matters sometimes.
I work for the greatest local advertising company on the planet
Happy Holidays CGers
That college is finally done… after finals
Great giveaway.
FWIW, my first grade teacher was Mrs. Tommins, back at Wilson Elementary in Neptune City, NJ.
