I told you the Wii was no good
by John Biggs on December 16, 2008

This is probably staged. Why was he filming himself?

  • Even if it “isn’t” fake (which I am almost positive it is), why in the world would you not wear the Wii Strap?! It takes quite a bit of force to break those and I have some hilarious stories to go along with that bit of knowledge.

  • I like how he taps the top of the TV like it is going to start working again. Why was he standing two feet away in the first place - stand behind the coffee table and maybe the remote will only chip the screen.

  • Wow, people still make jokes about breaking your tv by throwing a Wiimote at it? Rick Rolling wasn’t even an internet meme the last time I saw one of these.

  • If you look at his score going into the final ball… he had a pretty good game going.

  • I’m calling bullsh*t on this. The break is not consistent with the way the remote hits the screen. Furthermore, there was no second shooter on the grassy knoll.

  • Everyone knows that if you see something on video it really happened. You couldn’t possibly simulate something like that. Plus look at the size of the christmas tree. Someone with a christmas tree that dinky wouldn’t have the technology to create such a simulation, if the technology existed that is.

  • He’s recording it because he had a good game going I think. Kind of like a, “Hey guys, watch this video where I get a crazy Wii bowling score!” video. Why call bull on this?

  • The only thing I can see that lends to staged video is the angle of release between the first throw and the second. The first has more follow through with upwards arm motion. The second goes straight towards the TV.

Otherwise, if people want to get rid of old TV’s,just send them to me. I’ll watch it for you.
