Blu-ray players keep on dropping in price – HUZZAH! – and Target has a nice deal on an Olevia unit. The BD-100 has all the bells and whistles of a Profile 1.1 player at a killer price. True, Black Friday deals were better but chances are no shopkeeper died for this deal (too soon?) The price starts on December 21, 2008 but there isn’t any mention on how long it will stay low. Wait a little longer though and we might see Profile 2.0 players that low again. That way you can get auto updates and more content via the Internet.

Yeah, sure, Blu-ray player prices are dropping like mad. But, if you’re gonna drop $150 on a Blu-ray player, you might as well buy a Sony. They’re officially the same price as of right now.
Where are there Sony Blue Ray for $150.
There is no Sony branded Blu Ray player out now for $150. Not even their junk spec 1.0…
Sony’s are 250 minimum.
There’s a nice “Engadget” wordmark to the left of “our lowest” in the picture. Wonder where you got this post…
Don’t you worry about it Rog, just mind your business!
Yeah, I know it’s there. I gave them credit for the find, but I thought our readers would want to know about the deal as well.
Roger, I forgot to mention in my previous post above, “Mind ‘yer own d@mn business!”
I’ll copy ads wherever and whenever I please… don’t make me angry…you wouldn’t like it when I’m angry…
Got one for Christmas. It doesnt power up….
