yup…chrome is not the best in my opinion..though i’m still using it but it gets stuck so i’m thinking to switch back to firefox…it was nice and was a non sticky browser

I have to defend the Storm, you’ve got to be dry shaving me putting that as the worst device. While yes I would take a G1 or probably an iPhone over it to say it is the worst device is laughable. It’s over hyped (as is the iPhone) which is a totally different animal. You can give it third place in a contest between those three but that hardly puts it in spitting distance of worst device of the year. I’d give worst device of the year to any one of the bevy of “feature phones” such as the Voyager, Dare, or Instinct that consumers were subjected to this year.Use the Storm for more than the 15-30 minutes that most reviewers seem to and you adjust to its UI and Surepress. It’s not exactly a BlackBerry and it’s not exactly an iPhone and somehow not being the perfect union of the two is all reviewers can see in it.

G1 over the iPhone 3G? Wow, that’s a joke. I agree that the promise of the Android platform is amazing and will probably be the best soon. But for 2008, G1 is not even close to the iPhone 3G. I’m not an iPhone fanboy, but give credit when credit is due. I think the G2 or other Android platforms will be great in 2009 as the platform matures and will probably overpass the iPhone in phone of the year… but not this year.

Can’t agree on Chrome yet. Maybe best of 2009? While it BURNS through java in ways that others can’t, there are still an annoyingly large number of things it just doesn’t do. One glaring thing (as a user of WordPress) is when you click on an image to resize it in Chrome…you can’t. When I open my IGoogle page (same company, I might add, as made the browser) something on the page errors every time I open Chrome and I have to close the error window – error message? “encountered error” = fail)

It shows promise though…

I can’t believe that out of all of the camcorders on the planet with all the various features of HD, disc recording, etc. that you guys pulled out some cheapo garbage camcorders as the BEST.

I would choose the iPhone in every category. It is so revolutionary and great that it outshines everything else developed in the past several years!! The G1 is a knockoff under a open source scheme.
