My work involves not onoly workin at lmy deskl but meeting with others in home or office.
In my office I set up the program and in the clients office or home I present and make any changes needed and prepare offers.
The two screens would allow the client to observe and make any changes without looking over my shoulder.
I see it as a tool. I am aware of one laptop that one is able to trun just the screen around
I am going to look at this one ...if it still is around.

aartha, your comment is exactly what they said about a home computer!

4 times out of 5, that comment is correct, but it all comes down to cost. If they can make it at a decent price people will try it out. If support comes, it might evolve into something we could all use.

I can see web designers and programmers putting all their instant messangers there already to not interfere with the desktop. A place to keep skype / msn / facebook / twitter / RSS news always on top. too bad there is not boss-key functionality to retract the screen back in :P

I was just thinking that, it'd be good for photoshoppers... but how many serious artists have a laptop as their primary machine? Laptop screens have pretty bad color and lighting compared with high-end LCDs.

Gotta say that the only trick that second screen offers up is a place to put your palettes off of the main screen. Then again, it's a pretty good trick. I agree that I would rather have a dual monitor home setup.
