The little lady ordered up a pair of running shoes from FinishLine.com recently and, wouldn’t you know it, the tiny 12” x 7” x 4” shoebox was shipped in a gigantic 19” x 19” x 19” box devoid of padding, air bubbles, or any other type of filler.
So FinishLine.com, I salute you. Your commitment to using as much cardboard as possible is a refreshing change of pace in a world gone green. My wife will enjoy her new shoes, while I will enjoy spending the rest of the afternoon building a fort in the living room.
Coulda been worse, coulda been full of plastic packing materials. I’m just sayin’… ;)

I wonder if no one bothers to think that using a cardboard box, albeit a rather large one… is probably better, you know for the environment… then reordering. remaking. reshipping a box that was just the right size.
It could be said company collected a bunch of boxes, and instead of tossing them away or recycling them, ugh, decided to reuse.
Remember. Reduce, Reuse…. then recycle.
