Steve Jobs set up Pixar University to teach Pixar how to be Pixar. Apple University is currently being built and staffed.

I believe we are 4.5 years into a 10-year exit plan.

Expect to only see Mr. Wonka during the giant moments from now on.

What bothers me is that while we know about the past of each of those guys listed, what about their future?

Jobs had to deal with a *ton* of road blocks to turn Apple into what it is now. He had to be fired at one point, he has to convince people that it’s not necessarily an Apple vs. Microsoft battle all the time, and that both can coexist. His vision and drive to get things done at any cost is what he’s good at, even if it means being a little eccentric.

Personally, I’m not confident in any one besides him. He’s devoted his whole life to this company, that’s a lot of loyalty, and so it’s hard to succeed someone like that.
