Whenever a game busts out for 360 and PS3s, it’s a fanboy pageant as each tries to extol the virtues of their version of the game. It looks like that may not be possible with Resident Evil 5, which, if you watch the HD version of this demo comparison, appears to look exactly the same on both systems.

Sure, I’m guessing that during some scenes, effects are rendered slightly differently, or the shaders have minor differences, but overall the two systems seem to both show the same gorgeous brown graphics. I’m really looking forward to this game, even though I don’t have either of these consoles. Maybe it’ll come out for Dreamcast!
