BGR is reporting that some parts of AT&T’s network were failing just as the phones bought at Wal-Mart stores this weekend were getting online.
No real confirmation – a call into AT&T said there were some network issues and little else – but have you guys seen any issues? My network was up all weekend in Ohio.
Actually for a change I am getting decent service in my office. That in itself is rare. Signal works great in Pittsburgh.
I was in Indianapolis, Indiana and there was no AT&T cell service from about 10:30am until around 5:30 pm on Sunday. It was very frustrating. I had to go to an AT&T store to find out what was happening. There were no reports on any news service that I could find.
I live in New York City and my 3G/Data has not been working for at least four hours. I just called AT&T and spoke with a representative who told me that there is apparently a widespread outage affecting the entire Northeastern United States, and that there was no estimate on how long it would be until it was corrected.
