Neat, this gives me an idea that I can do to install something similar but for a full size vinyl window inside a house. This can be used to open and close when you want to add more privacy to your home. I guess you can always have your windows tinted.. ??
Anyways neat idea..

Well supposedly your central heating already does work with the thermostat, but if you have like a guest bedroom or an area that you want to keep warm all the time, this would be handy. I dunno, personally I live in a studio apt with a steam radiator, I can heat the whole place up to like 90 degrees in 15 minutes.
