Clever tech cartoons of 2008
by John Biggs on January 4, 2009

Wired has a great little line-up of some favorite tech cartoons of 2008. Considering I saw some old guy texting on the highway in Ohio yesterday for almost a straight hour, weaving from side to side as he messaged his gerontologist or whatever, I think this cartoon is particularly apt.

Sadly, this one will be come apt this year, probably.

  • I really liked the cell phone ban cartoon… it’s so apt considering the past year’s headlines.

  • It continues to amaze me how comic strips can capture the public sentiment even better than a quote or an actual picture. It is a unique prism to help us see our world.

  • I’m trying to find a cartoon I saw previously about requirements from a customer for a vehicle, but the developer produced a bicycle. The customer updates the requirements asking for something to keep them dry and that they can carry their groceries in. The developer puts an umbrella on the bicycle and a pair of baskets. Have you seen this? I’d like to get a hold of it again. I’m hoping you can help. Thanks
