Here are my two questions:

- The size of the captor?
- The quality of the image

Kodak has the right recipe for a huge success here. If the image quality is better than the Panasonic FZ-28, especially at ISO 400 +, it will stomp the competition

Think about it for a second:
Wide-angle (26mm)
Insane zoom (624mm?!)
HD Video (720p, 1080i or 1080p though?)
Included vertical grip, along with vertical shutter button
12MP

Now, the 12MP worries me. I rather have 10MP, heck 8 is plenty enough, but with NO noise.

All depends on the captor size and Kodak in-camera treatment

There are also no mention of aperture.

In any case, for $400, this is a steal and I cannot wait to hear more this camera.

I had a Panasonic FZ-18, found it too noisy from ISO 400, FZ-28 improved a bit but this could be the camera that I want! =D

I think for the features alone, this is going to be a great seller… hopefully this forces Nikon and Canon to drop their pricing for both lenses and camera bodies.
