$300 does seem a bit much, even for cool gamer tech. I suppose if folks are really into LAN parties or contests, they may go for it. Manufacturing process looks complex, so probably not much of a price drop after it has been out for a while.

Wtf are you talking about? People replace the standard headphones because they deliver crap music quality not because you can play music louder with another set.

Humans listen to MP3’s at WAY to high levels of volume, we should actually be okay with the standard ones that come with the iPod….unless your an audio engineer of course!
